Job summary

goTenna, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Customer Experience Team.

You will provide on-site and virtual training, perform equipment installations, and deliver technical service to Public Safety, military, and other Pro customers, ensuring satisfaction throughout the journey. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to voice customer needs, support demos and RFPs, and help shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience, preferably in Public Safety or Military deployments
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies
Strong ability to grasp customer needs and provide timely solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Engage with Public Safety, Military, and other Pro customers
Monitor and respond to support requests for Pro products
Document use cases, issues, and opportunities
Provide leadership with product and customer performance reports
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to troubleshoot issues
Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct on-site/virtual training and installations
Support presales activities such as demos and RFPs
Assist Business Development with trade shows and Q&A sessions
Stay updated on industry advances and customer requirements
