You will act as domain authority for Data Center Solutions in Central US and Latin America, support RFQs, tailor products, train customers, and drive improvements. Remote work with ~30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering or equivalent data center experience.
• English and Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in a technical applications role supporting data center product solutions.
• Strong background in power, air, and liquid cooling for data centers.
• Understanding of data center power and cooling architecture is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mentality.
• Willingness to travel ~30% across the US and LATAM; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain authority for nVent Data Center Solutions products across Sales, Product Management, and Operations.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues using nVent Data Solutions.
• Evaluate RFQs and build costing/quotes with technical and commercial content.
• Offer technical application help to identify modified and engineered products per specs.
• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals for non-standard products.
• Conduct product training for customers and distributors on quoting tools.
• Prepare compliance documents against customer specifications.
• Lead strategic projects for product improvements, cost reductions, and new development.
• Review training literature for technical accuracy, including guides and procedures.
• Represent nVent in industry codes and standards committees.
• Provide market intelligence and VOC feedback to commercial teams.
• Plan activities with the Sales Leader.
• Identify closing-phase projects with the sales team and provide technical support.
• Advise management on significant developments and upcoming decisions.
