Job summary

In-Place Machining Company (IPM) seeks a hands-on, customer-focused Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and business. You will work directly with customers to translate technical capabilities into tailored, real-world solutions and drive growth across diverse industries.

You will develop quotes, review drawings, and present on-site proposals while building long-term relationships. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with occasional travel

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, field service, machining, industrial maintenance, or technical sales.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T preferred).

Responsibilities

Partner with customers to understand challenges and deliver tailored engineering solutions.
Develop quotes, estimates, and technical scopes of work that win business.
Showcase IPM's capabilities and value through presentations and on-site visits.
