RWE Americas, LLC in Nevada is seeking a Solar Farm Technician II to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar PV facilities. You will inspect, test, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, monitor plant performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a High School diploma, with preferred Associate degree in Engineering and NV PV Installer license; NABCEP or electrical license is preferred. Travel to sites and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• An Associate degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Current Nevada State PV Installer licence is required.
• NABCEP Certification or Electrical License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform tasks safely following site procedures and LOTO/JSA requirements.
• Document work and prepare reports for management and compliance.
• Operate and monitor solar plant performance, reporting trends and issues.
• Interface with contractors and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and support nontraditional operating hours as needed.
