Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent 2 to lead on-site field operations on client projects across the United States, with the first assignment in northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities include safety, quality, scheduling, contracts, construction drawings conformance, and customer relations, with supervision from the Project Construction Manager and possible support to other superintendents. Travel is 100% and the pay range is $85,280–$141,440.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensures work follows the project schedule and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and record keeping.
• Takes progress photographs and labels them for documentation.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports and ensures latest design drawings are used.
• May assist the Project Construction Manager and support key trades or subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear correspondence with management and clients on project issues.
• Maintains on-site records per CDM Smith requirements.
• Follows CDM Smith Quality Policy and Work Instructions.
