Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an on-site Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. The first project is in the northeast Ohio region.

You will manage safety, quality control, scheduling, drawings, and client relations, while supporting project managers on large or complex sites. Strong communication and document control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience. The degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports
• Take progress photographs and label them for records
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports
• Ensure contractors use latest design drawing revisions
• Provide assistance to Project Construction Manager as needed
• Support key trades/subcontractors on large projects
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with Project Manager
• Maintain clear, professional correspondence with project management and clients
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith requirements
• Follow the Quality Policy and associated instructions
