Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. seeks a Site Manager to oversee installation activities at the site and assist the Construction Manager with approved site plans. The role includes coordinating field teams, ensuring readiness, and supervising safety, quality, and progress across disciplines.

The candidate will spend the majority of time in the field, identify risks, document issues, and escalate as required. Travel up to 80-90% is expected domestically or internationally.

Qualifications

Experience supervising installation work on material handling, conveyor, automation, or comparable projects.
Knowledge of subcontractor coordination, field safety, and project reporting.
Willingness to travel up to 80-90% (domestic or international).

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day installation activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and pre-commissioning teams.
Ensure work areas are ready with materials, drawings, equipment and safety controls.
Monitor subcontractor progress, workmanship, and adherence to plans and look-ahead.
Lead field huddles and coordinate meetings; escalate issues when needed.
Support quality inspections, punch lists, and turnover readiness.
Report site conditions, decisions, and field risks to management.
