Job summary

La Crosse Sign Group is seeking an Installation and Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair various signs at customer sites. You will work at heights, operate ladders and lifts, and coordinate with on-site contacts to meet project specs.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to ensure high-quality installations and service calls across Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Installation/ construction work experience preferred.
• Technical training or certification in sign installation or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in sign installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install and service a wide variety of signage including illuminated, non-illuminated, digital displays and more.
• Work as part of a team to load/unload, install, and repair signs at customer sites.
• Conduct site surveys and determine best installation approaches while ensuring safety.
• Read production/installation prints and ensure accurate execution per instructions.
