Job summary

North American Signs, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sign Installation Technician to install, maintain, and remove interior and exterior signage.

The role demands technical precision, safety focus, and the ability to work independently or with a team while providing excellent customer service. You will read blueprints and work orders, operate lifts and hand tools, perform site surveys, document work, and coordinate with project managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial sign installation or related trades.
• Ability to read installation specs and blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DOT safety regulations.
• Good driving record with willingness to travel Midwest region.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of commercial signs per orders and specs.
• Safely operate company vehicles and installation equipment.
• Perform site surveys and verify installation requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and adjust in the field.
• Conduct service calls, maintenance, and repairs on existing signage.
• Document installations with photographs and service reports.
• Communicate progress with managers and customers.
• Maintain equipment and job sites in a clean, safe condition.
• Work outdoors in various weather and heights up to 100 ft.
• Provide leadership to field staff to boost morale.
