La Crosse Sign Group is seeking a Sign Assembly Technician in Wisconsin to turn fabricated and painted components into installation-ready signs. You will follow approved drawings, assemble channel letters with LED wiring, and apply vinyl graphics while ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires reading drawings, using production tools, and performing pre-QC checks to prevent defects. A detail-oriented, safety-conscious candidate will thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Read production drawings and work orders.
  • Experience with low-voltage wiring or sign fabrication preferred.
  • Ability to read measurements and material specs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review drawings and work orders; verify dimensions, materials, colors, and illumination requirements.
  • Set up and operate the channel letter machine to form returns accurately and safely; follow training and authorization.
  • Fit and staple backs to returns; apply trim cap to acrylic faces with clean joints.
  • Install LED modules, wiring, and power leads according to layouts and UL procedures.
  • Perform thorough pre-QC inspection against drawings and orders; document discrepancies.
