Job summary

The Beaver Excavating Co. is seeking a Service Technician/Mechanic to repair aggregate/mining equipment, including crushers, screeners, and conveyors. You will diagnose mechanical problems, evaluate failures, and perform timely repairs both in the shop and in the field.

Candidates should have a mining background, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work off-hours as needed. CDL is preferred, and welding skills are a plus. Safety compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on equipment repair.
• Dealer or manufacturer training desirable.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and diagnoses mechanical problems on aggregate equipment.
• Evaluates mechanical failures, determines cause and completes timely and effective repairs.
• Responds to field service calls as assigned.
• Other tasks as assigned.
