Job summary

Beaver Excavating Company in Canton, OH is seeking a Service Technician/Mechanic to repair aggregate/mining equipment, including crushers, screeners, and conveyors, in the shop and in the field. You will identify mechanical problems, evaluate failures, and complete timely, effective repairs while following safety policies.

You will respond to field service calls as assigned and support other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on equipment repair.
• Dealer or manufacturer training desirable.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and diagnoses mechanical problems on aggregate equipment.
• Evaluates mechanical failures, determines cause and completes timely and effective repairs.
• Responds to field service calls as assigned.
• Other tasks as assigned.
