Job Summary

This role involves repairing construction machinery, diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, warranty reporting, maintaining company assets, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and components, develop repair plans, determine necessary parts and tools.
• Perform repairs safely, ensure quality assurance, and test repaired systems.
• Complete reports for parts, tooling, service, and work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate repair progress to supervisors.
• Manage parts and tools through company systems and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four years of apprenticeship experience.
• Experience, knowledge, and competence determine technician classification.

Work Environment

Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions and moving mechanical parts; occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, weather extremes, and vibration. Noise level is moderate to loud.
