Job summary

Applied Research Associates (ARA) invites a skilled field installer to support shop fabrication and in-field assembly at the Ridgecrest, CA facility. The role covers installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, reading schematics and drawings, and coordinating with engineers and technicians to meet customer requirements.

Travel is frequent to customer sites; the candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety standards and proper

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and Red Line Electrical Schematics
• Read and Red line Mechanical Assembly / Sub-Assemblie drawings
• Assemble and wire custom equipment
• Test and verify equipment
• Run conduit and pull wire
• Terminate wire in the field
• Work closely in a team setting with other technicians and engineers
• Must have the ability to gain and maintain a security clearance
