Job summary

The Test Technology Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) invites applications for a Field and Lab Electronics Technician to support field testing at Kirtland AFB, AMR, and White Sands Missile Range.

You will assist with instrumentation, troubleshooting, data acquisition, and the design of systems. Candidates should have at least 1 year of electronics experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to document designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Some experience in electronics.
• Ability to be trained in electronics.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Input to design team, building circuits, field activities at test sites, downloading and interpreting preliminary data and troubleshooting existing coding.
• Setup, install, and troubleshooting of networking equipment.
• Performs as a bunker operator, assists lead operators.
• Conducts planning and deploying wireless infrastructures with multiple users tied into a VPN from multiple remote testing sites.
