Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a Field and Lab Electronics Technician to support field testing at Kirtland AFB and other sites.

You will assist with instrumentation, troubleshooting (including programming), data triggering, QA, and system design collaboration with the engineering team. The role requires familiarity with development, data acquisition, and testing of electro-mechanical systems, with prototype work common.

Qualifications

• Capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance.
• US citizenship is required.
• Engineering and scientific analysis experience.
• Data analysis and interpretation.
• Outdoor test site and field support at local and remote sites.
• Purchasing with approved vendors.
• Execute tasks related to R&D of instrumentation hardware and software.
• Setup, install, and troubleshoot networking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain DoD clearance as required for duties.
• Support field testing alongside engineering and scientific staff.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation hardware and software.
• Analyze data and provide interpretations for ongoing tests.
• Coordinate field activities at Kirtland AFB and AMR locations.
• Assist in procurement with approved vendors.
