Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems is seeking a Field Services Technician 2 to perform testing, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment at field locations. The position involves installing new equipment, operating digital and analog devices, and troubleshooting to find solutions under supervision.

Minimum 2 years in electronic equipment maintenance; associate degree preferred. Travel domestically and internationally may be required, and DOT safety guidelines apply. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electronic equipment maintenance or related field.
• Associate degree in electronics or related technical field or equivalent training.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install and perform maintenance and repairs on equipment at field locations.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions using manuals and test equipment.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform system checks to ensure operational readiness of devices.
• Interface with customer agencies to provide support and maintain relationships.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
