Job summary

Clean Harbors in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our field operations team. The role supports hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in a safety‑conscious environment.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, start around 6 am, with 8–10+ hour days and overtime after 40 hours. Training is provided; travel up to two weeks may be required with hotel and per diem provided.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Position may require on-call and emergency response, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority by following all policies and procedures.
• Perform strenuous physical tasks and operate various tools and equipment.
• Transport and handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters as needed.
• Work long hours, including extended shifts and travel for site work.
