TEKsystems is seeking a Field Services Technician to deliver desktop and end-user support in an Eastern Kentucky state government environment. The role emphasizes user interaction, issue resolution, and maintaining technology operations across onsite and remote locations.

The position is contract-based and based in Flemingsburg, KY, with travel to supported sites as needed. Candidates should have 1–2+ years of desktop support experience, Windows 11 proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of desktop support experience in a professional environment.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 11.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

TEKsystems is seeking a Field Services Technician to provide desktop and end-user support within a state government environment in Eastern Kentucky. This is a long-term opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys working directly with users to resolve technical issues and maintain technology operations. Key Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Flemingsburg, KY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
