Job summary

Pro-vision Solutions is seeking an Installation Technician to perform professional on-site installations and servicing of our products, delivering industry-leading quality and courteous customer interactions.

The role requires 12-volt vehicle installation knowledge, GPS/exterior & interior monitoring systems familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to operate company vehicle on customer locations.
• 12 volt vehicle upfitting/outfilling knowledge including GPS and monitoring systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Capable of maintaining accurate installation documentation and signatures.

Responsibilities

• Complete product installations and service work according to procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe driving record and drive defensively.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory; document deviations.
• Provide professional on-site customer service and communication.
• Submit paperwork and reports to home office promptly; suggest process improvements.

Summary of job:The Installation Technician will represent the company and provide an industry leading level of quality installation and servicing of our products. The Installation Technician will convey the most professional level of onsite customer service by providing expert installation and friendly customer interaction. The Installer will enable the company to maintain a continued commitment to being the industry leader for product innovation, quality and services.Standards, responsibilities and duties for this position:Complete product installations according to proceduresComplete service work according to proceduresUtilize safe and defensive driving habits to maintain a clean driving recordWork at an efficient pace to maintain a competitive install and service cost for customersComply with all procedures and provide documented feedback of all deviationsProperly organize and maintain a spare parts inventory.Maintain a clean and orderly work vehicleTeam player with a positive, professional and proactive attitudeFollow all company processes, policies and proceduresMethodical approach to workQualifications and work requirements for this position:Have valid driver's license to drive company vehicle to customer locations and provide all required installation services to fulfill assignmentsMust have 12 volt vehicle upfitting/outfilling installation knowledge including GPS and exterior and interior monitoring systemsMust be able to alternate from sitting to standing at will with the ability to climb steps/ladders, crouch and kneel as needed to complete installation tasksMust be able to lift 75 lbs. and 35 lbs. over headAbility to fit in/under semi-confined space (inside and under vehicles) to complete installation processesMaintain a minimum of 95% accuracy of Target Times for assigned installationsMaintain a clean, driving record through safe and defensive driving to ensure the ability to be insured on corporate auto policyEnsure installations are completed accouring to installation and service work ordersEnsure that customer approves all work with proper signatures in all agreementsDocument all non-standard installations/service, proactively provide an appropriate solution and determine how the issue will be eliminated in the futureFamiliar with and have the ability to use microshoft office applications as neededMaintain professoinal onsite appearance and provide professional customer communicationProvide the necessary paperwork and reports to the home office in a timely manner as requiredProvide process improvement suggestions for any install/service aspect of the companyMust follow and adhere to all policies and procedures in the current version of the Pro-Vision Installation policy and procedure manualAdditional requirements and duties as assigned within the company's best interestWe are Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at our company.
