Job summary

Mark-Vii-Equipment is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and on-site training in the field. You will troubleshoot a range of systems including chemical, mechanical, electrical, and PLCs, with minimal supervision.

Documentation of repairs, adherence to safety, and communication with customers and internal teams are essential for delivering reliable service and reducing costs for clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field experience in equipment maintenance.
• Ability to develop improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment as assigned in the field.
• Troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Provide on-site technical training for customer personnel.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company gear in good condition.

Summary:The Field Service Technician is responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, and for documenting related repairs and services. This position also recommends changes in systems, programs, and equipment to improve reliability, increase capability, and/or reduce customer costs.
