Job summary

American Digital Security is seeking a lead field technician to manage day-to-day jobsite performance of field teams. You will install and service systems independently while ensuring installations meet project scope and quality standards.

You will coordinate with project managers, run service calls, manage inventory, and assist with scheduling of multiple projects. Travel to sites is required; a HS diploma or GED and 3–5 years of industry experience are preferred.

Summary/ObjectiveThe lead field technician is responsible for managing the day-to-day jobsite performance of field technicians. This person will have to install/service systems independently while checking in on active larger projects. This position is to ensure installations assigned to them will be installed in a professional and accurate manner meeting all the requirements of the project scope.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functionsProject ManagementEnsure all devices are installed where designatedEnsure all programming is complete before leaving siteKeep sales informed if they need to be involved with changes to scopeKeep up on trainings on core product lines and ADS installation techniquesRun service calls and troubleshoot customer equipmentManage inventory for service calls and job installationsWork with project managers on completion and scheduling of ongoing projectsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager and/or Vice PresidentCompetenciesExcellent professional communication and organizational skills.Team player with strong Commercial Awareness.Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Excellent time management skills and results-oriented performance.Demonstrates ethical integrity while completing essential functions.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLead level field personnel will monitor and manage onsite labor to deliver a project on time and as designed.Work Environment/Physical DemandsThis position may require long hours and out of town travel to a multitude of locations. New construction sites, schools, offices and factory environments. This position also operates in various weather environments outdoors and indoors. The physical demands are driven by the needs of our employees and customers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
