Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Greensboro is seeking a certified Field Services Team Leader to guide a team of field technicians in construction materials testing. You will oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, training, and quality control, while supporting project delivery and financial performance.

As the primary leader for field staff, you will ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and efficiently, maintain positive customer service, and advance ECS core values.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license if driving ECS work.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises a team of field technicians.
• Manages day-to-day field operations including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensures projects are staffed with trained and qualified technicians.
• Promotes safety policies and PPE usage.
• Manages field equipment calibration, maintenance, and inventory.
• Communicates daily with technicians, project managers, and contractors.
• Supports recruiting and staffing to maintain team levels.
• Reviews field reports for quality and timeliness.
• Performs field testing, observation, and inspection as needed.
• Supports project managers and leadership with execution.
• Participates in project meetings and client interactions.
