Job summary

GAF is seeking a Field Services Rotational Associate-Northeast. The program accelerates recent graduates into leaders through cross-functional projects across Field Services, with assignments in Field Services Rotation, Liquid Applied Roofing Rotation, and Roofing Principles Rotation.

The role requires 30–60% travel to customers and events, and an in-home office setup. You will work with a dedicated manager and mentor to build leadership and technical skills over a two-year program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management is required.
• Previous internship/apprenticeship or co-op in construction or roofing environment.
• Knowledge of the building material industry, roofing and water management products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Field Services roof inspections (start ups, interims, finals) and leak/complaint inspections.
• Travel to neighboring areas to conduct roof inspections.
• Learn to prioritize open inspection requests and schedule effectively.
• Assist in leak/complaint investigations and provide written communications to GAF.
• Support with Field Services and contractor training for coatings projects.
• Collaborate with R&D on new product development and application techniques.
• Assist architects, specifiers, contractors, and Territory Managers with design and drafting needs.
• Help write and maintain CSI specifications and installation manuals.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to job site safety practices.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow driver safety policies.
