Job summary

Sleep Number is seeking a Field Services Lead Technician to help deliver, assemble, and demonstrate the Sleep Number Smart Bed in customers' homes. You will be the local expert on fulfillment quality, inventory management, and fleet coordination, partnering with the Supervisor to keep operations efficient and compliant.

In addition to hands-on service, you will train new team members, support on-route installations and service visits, and maintain strong customer engagement to uphold Sleep

Qualifications

• HS Education or GED equivalent.
• 2–3 years customer service experience.
• 1 year Field Service Technician experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical, drug screen and background checks.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local point of contact for Fulfillment Quality and inventory management.
• Primary trainer for all new Field Services team members.
• Train current team members on policy changes and new products/services.
• Oversee market inventory, reporting and validation of storage facilities and dock locations.
• Maintain fleet by coordinating with supervisor for truck maintenance.
• Support customer experience evaluations and on‑route installations.
