Adaptive Career Strategies, LLC is recruiting Field Service Engineers and Field Service Technicians for Phoenix, AZ. You will install, diagnose and repair modular electronic systems at customer sites and provide rapid on-site support, with a focus on durable problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
The role requires 2–7 years of related experience, willingness to travel, and a valid driver's license and passport. SQL knowledge is helpful but not required.
Do you know electronics? More importantly, are you the person people call when everyone else has run out of ideas?
Adaptive Career Strategies, LLC (AdaptiveCareers.com) is a recruiting firm representing an established technology company that is aggressively hiring multiple Field Service Engineers and Field Service Technicians as it builds its team in Phoenix.
We're looking for technical ability. But we're looking just as hard at mindset and culture.
Can you troubleshoot a difficult problem more efficiently than most? Do you enjoy figuring out why something isn't working instead of simply replacing parts until it does? Are you comfortable in front of a customer? And when you look at your career three or five years from now, do you expect to be doing substantially more than you're doing today?
If those questions sound like you, we'd like to talk.
This is a long-established company with a respected brand and decades of experience in its industry. The business was recently acquired by a long-term employee who knows the company, its customers and its technology from the inside.
His objective isn't simply to maintain the business.
He wants to build the brand back into #1 in its field.
That means building a new team of people who want to be part of that journey.
The company is looking for people willing to give their best, accept responsibility, solve problems and grow as the organization grows. If you're looking for a place where you can disappear into a large organization and simply do the same job every year, this probably isn't the opportunity for you.
If you're looking for a company where your contribution can actually matter, keep reading.
Responsibilities
We're interested in both Field Service Engineers and Field Service Technicians, ideally with approximately 2–7 years of related experience.
Relevant experience matters, but we're deliberately not writing a job description designed to eliminate good people because they don't check every box.
We want to talk with people who understand electronics, know how to troubleshoot and have demonstrated that they can learn.
You should also be comfortable with extensive travel and have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a valid passport. Experience with modular electronic systems is particularly interesting, and SQL knowledge is helpful but not necessarily required.
Above all, we're interested in people with the desire to become exceptionally good at what they do.
This may be the most important qualification.
The company doesn't want to hire you for one job and leave you there indefinitely. Leadership wants to understand where you want your career to go and, upon hiring, work with you to develop a career trajectory.
They have ambitious plans for the company—and for the team they're building.
So here's the question:
If you're already good at what you do, what could you become in the right environment?
You don't need to be actively looking for another job to have a conversation with us.
If your background is in field service, electronics, electrical/electronic equipment, modular systems, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting or a closely related technical field, AdaptiveAZ would like to hear your story and learn where you want your career to go.
