The Senior Field Engineer provides technical service and manages servicing tasks within their assigned region for ROSA® Surgical Devices. In addition, they are key players in complaint investigations, including troubleshooting with on-site Zimmer Biomet representatives in the operating room. The Senior Field Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the servicing of the ROSA Surgical Device throughout its lifecycle as well as leading key projects and mentoring new hires.

How You'll Create Impact

• Perform new system installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting and repair for installed ROSA systems following established processes
• Master servicing across all ROSA platforms
• Provide on-site support for product demonstrations and educational initiatives to build local and regional market awareness
• Assess technical problems and find a solution or determine how to elevate it appropriately, while under high pressure situations
• Serve as first line troubleshooting support for Field Service Engineers
• Mentor and support new hires during training period
• Support ROSA classroom training as needed
• Provide improvement feedback on training documentation
• Assist in limited marketing releases
• Attend product trade shows and annual trainings

Your Background

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or relevant Science
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• 4-7 years of experience in field support, engineering, or other customer-facing function preferably with a medical device company

Preferred

• Prior experience with robotics
• Project management skills
• Experience working in an operating room environment

Expected base salary is $75,000 - $85,000 with an added yearly bonus

Travel Expectations

• Up to 80 percent
• Applicants should be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and the possibility of holidays
