Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Project Services Engineer to join our SMART Products team in the Pulp and Paper Automation line. The role covers installation, commissioning, and startup of systems for North American customers, with a focus on VIB profilers and related SMART products.

Responsibilities include providing lifecycle support, addressing service inquiries, reporting on project status, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, engineering, mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or technical support.
• Understanding of pulp and paper processes, especially paper machine ops.
• Experience with PLC-DCS data links: Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP.
• Strong communication to explain technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel across North America; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and start up new systems for customers.
• Deliver lifecycle support services and respond to inquiries.
• Provide regular updates and prepare technical reports.
• Serve as SME for ANDRITZ SMART Products in Pulp Mill applications.
