Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Field Services Engineer to deliver end-user support across desktop, mobile, and workplace technologies in Orlando. You will provide hands-on and remote assistance, manage devices, support collaboration tools, and ensure a secure, reliable environment.

You'll work with IT, security, and application teams, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to onboarding, asset management, and lifecycle processes. This onsite role requires 5 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering Deskside Support or Field Services in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on with MDM/endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, SCCM) for deployment, patching and admin tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS endpoints, printers and peripherals.
• Familiar with device provisioning/deployment (PXE, Autopilot) and imaging workflows.
• Experience using remote support tools and ticketing systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user tech support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person.
• Assist onboarding: accounts, devices, workstation setup, software installs.
• Deploy and manage mobile devices with Intune and Jamf while maintaining security standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, peripherals.
• Support conference room tech, video conferencing, projectors, displays, AV equipment.
• Install and upgrade Windows and macOS OS and applications on endpoints.
• Perform hardware/software upgrades and lifecycle refresh activities.
• Use IT asset management to track assets from procurement to retirement.
• Maintain ServiceNow CMDB records and document incidents and resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
