Job summary

Indotronix International Corporation seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to support onsite operations in Wisconsin, focusing on data center, BAS, or HVAC systems. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

You will act as the local technical lead, working with customers to resolve complex issues and delivering subcontracted projects on time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service experience in data centers, BAS, or HVAC.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Direct Digital Control systems.
• Strong customer-facing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot and optimize customer systems using Direct Digital Control.
• Serve as local technical contact and field leader.
• Provide turnkey delivery on small to medium projects.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms and reports.
• Document project status for customers and provide site training.
• Ability to use ladders as needed.

Duration: 12+ Months

Rate: $48/hr on W2

Schedule: M-F with some Saturdays, available from 6am to 4:30 pm- Work onsite-

Must Have Skills/Experience: Data Center, BAS, or HVAC experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Knowledge of how to use a multimeter, knowledge of IP networking, knowledge of bacnet or modbus protocol

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer's equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a team member who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and is customer focused. You will work on solving increasingly complex problems and assist in the training and development of less experienced Field Engineers.

Essential Job Functions:

Initiate, install, troubleshoot optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology.

Serve as local contact for technical issues and leader in the field.

Offer effective solutions for increasingly complex system issues.

Provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.

Responsible for ensuring that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software. Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.

Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.

Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer.

Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
