Position: Field Service Technician in Brooklyn, NY

Skills & Requirements

1. Provide hands-on IT support for end-user hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices), especially in clinical and warehouse settings.
2. Travel to remote clinics for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems to ensure minimal downtime.
3. Install and maintain clinical peripherals (medical printers, barcode scanners, label printers) complying with healthcare IT standards.
4. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues; escalate complex problems appropriately.
5. Support audiovisual equipment, telemedicine tools, and video conferencing setups.
6. Maintain accurate documentation for service tickets, site visits, hardware inventory, and software licenses.
7. Collaborate with central IT and vendors for escalations, upgrades, and hardware procurement.
8. Ensure compliance with data privacy and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
9. Participate in IT deployments, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades.
10. Provide support outside regular hours for critical events.
11. Build relationships with customers and clients, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
12. A technical degree is preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills are essential.
13. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
