Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an on-site technician to service and repair semiconductor processing equipment. You will troubleshoot complex systems, coordinate with customers and teams, and manage parts orders for timely maintenance.

The role requires 2 years of hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, and offers travel and relocation opportunities. Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Open to 100% travel; relocation possible.
• 2 years of maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and maintain required records/reports.

Job Description

Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. Troubleshoot equipment problems, maintains records and reports as required. Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. Orders and installs parts, respond to emergency service calls as required. Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed. Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials. Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc. CT experience huge plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• Open to 100% travel required
• 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering highly preferred
• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment\
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably lithography
• Military experience in the following MOS': technician, mechanic, or electronics specialist
