Job summary

TOP Group - Japanese Recruiting Agency client seeks a Field Service Engineer in Austin, TX, with frequent travel. The position is full-time direct hire and requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally, including 2–3 months overseas for training.

You will provide on-site service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for customer equipment, coordinating with movers and electricians, and reporting quality issues to the Field Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in electrical or mechanical or similar.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 months overseas for training.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and maintenance for company products.
• Inspect, maintain and manage local service structure.
• Troubleshoot, train and act as a liaison with customers.
• Provide preventative or on-call maintenance to customer's equipment within a given area.
• Will generally work on assigned machinery and assist on new products.
• Install the machines by working together with movers and electricians. Report any quality issues to Field Service Manager.

Our client, a global Japanese Semi conductor manufacturer is looking for a field service engineer to join their team in Austin TX. This position will require frequent travel.

Type: Full Time Direct Hire Exempt

Location: Austin TX with travel required must be able to travel 2-3 months of overseas travel for training

Salary: Depending on Experience of candidate between 70-90k

Requirements

• Associates Degree in electrical or mechanical or similar
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team
• Must be flexible for ~2-3 months of overseas travel for training
• One year of related experience in an electrical engineering or mechanical engineering related role is a plus
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call work as needed
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
