Job summary

Great Southwestern Construction is seeking a Field Services Coordinator II to support the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day operations on multiple construction projects. The role is field-based with travel to job sites as needed, and relocation may be required for project assignments.

You will review plans, assist with cost estimates, maintain records, and ensure safety and QA/QC procedures are followed. Strong MS Office skills and blueprint reading are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to develop and implement the quality plan.
• Prepare checklist of definable features of work requiring quality inspections.
• Assist with cost estimates and project scheduling as needed.
• Coordinate material/inventory monitoring and equipment tracking.
• Assist project manager with client submittals and RFIs.
• Communicate between office staff and field employees.
