Job summary

Columbus Water Works through Westaff Staffing Agency is seeking a hands-on Field Services Worker to perform heavy manual labor and operate equipment essential to water distribution and wastewater maintenance. The role includes loading trucks, performing maintenance, and assisting the Team Leader when needed.

You will work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certificates within one year are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months heavy labor experience.
• Must lift 50 pounds frequently and work outdoors in all weather.
• Valid drivere22s license; CPR and First Aid certifications within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily assignments by loading vehicle with materials, supplies and equipment.
• Clean, wash and fuel vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Unload, set up job sites and operate equipment (rodding, tapping, boring machines) with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with Team Captains to complete required jobs.
• Perform heavy manual labor under direction of supervisor; set up safety equipment.
• Set up traffic control equipment under supervisor22s guidance; work on water distribution and wastewater system tasks.
• Occasionally perform other duties as needed by supervisor.
