Travel required 80-100%

We are seeking a Welding Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will perform engineering duties in the industrial automation field, including but not limited to automotive, defense, amusement, and aerospace sectors.

Responsibilities (not required, a plus):
  1. Start-up and debug of new systems, including Bosch Rexroth, WTC, Henrob, Stanley, Lincoln, Miller, Fronius, and SKS systems.
  2. Integration of new automated production lines and launches, including DAW, GMAW, RSW, SPR, and laser welding.
  3. Understanding of BIW specifications and recommending best practice changes as needed.
  4. Technical and operational experience with Tessonic RSWA equipment, including software attributes.
  5. Ability to work with and train plant personnel on RSWA equipment and help them understand UT inspection requirements.
  6. Problem solving and optimization of existing systems.
  7. Production support.
  8. Quality improvement and expulsion reduction projects.
  9. Must be able to travel.
