Job summary

BissNuss, a UFT company, is seeking a Service Technician to support municipal and industrial equipment across Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The role involves technical assistance, quotes, training, and as a liaison between customers and the sales team.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, startup support, warranty service, and coordinating with engineering and service teams. This position requires travel to customer sites and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field technician experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics knowledge.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to customers.
• Ability to document startup, troubleshooting, and repairs for records.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to travel across Western PA, Ohio, and West Virginia.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and inspect findings to determine the source of problems.
• Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Provide start-up/commissioning services or other training to customers.
• Quote jobs when applicable.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic service on products and make adjustments.
• Assist management in sales, field service, and warranty issues.
• Primary work hours are Monday through Friday; hours vary by customer requirements.
