Job summary

BissNuss, a UFT company, seeks a Service Technician to support municipal and industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, startup, and quote service work, traveling to customer sites across Western PA, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Responsibilities include analyzing problems, coordinating with engineering and service teams, delivering start-up services, and maintaining thorough documentation of repairs and start-ups. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field technician experience required.
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics.
• Ability to explain technical issues to customers at various levels.
• Ability to document start-ups, troubleshooting, and repairs for records.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and inspect for source of problems and recommend actions.
• Coordinate with engineering and service teams to expedite repairs.
• Provide start-up/commissioning services or training to customers.
• Quote service jobs when applicable.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic service and adjustments.
• Assist management with sales, field service, and warranty issues.
• Primary hours: Monday–Friday; hours vary by customer needs.
