Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking skilled water and sewer infrastructure technicians in Mocksville, NC. You will inspect, repair, and maintain water distribution and sewer collection systems, while supporting emergency responses and on-call rotations.

Required are a high school diploma and 3–5+ years of field experience, plus CDL Class A or ability to obtain NC certifications. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 3–5+ years of experience in water and sewer collection systems.
• Possession of NC Distribution and/or Collection System certifications, or ability to obtain.
• Valid NC Driver's License - Class A CDL or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Water system support: meter reading, flushing programs, service shutoffs/restorations; maintain valves and hydrants; pressure testing; inspect valves and backflow preventers.
• Sewer maintenance: clean/inspect mains and laterals with jet/vac trucks; CCTV inspections; root removal.
• Infrastructure repair: repair/replace damaged sewer pipes, manholes, water meters and service connections.
• Emergency and compliance: respond to breaks/backups/spills and conduct grease trap inspections.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response and operate heavy equipment.
