Job summary

MilliporeSigma is hiring a Field Service Technician. You will install, repair and qualify water purification systems across the Lehigh Valley area, providing on-site solutions and ensuring optimal performance of our products.

This role involves travel, company vehicle provided, and occasional overnight trips. You will also support neighboring territories and document all work with required reports and calibrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience, skilled trade, mechanical proficiency, plumbing capabilities, technical skills, or military electronics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or other Engineering field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, perform preventative maintenance and qualification of water purification systems.
• Provide on-site service and ensure timely completion of work orders and documentation.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and calibration, and generate leads for service contracts via CRM.
• Occasional overnight travel; support for neighboring territories and coverage for other territories.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other Engineering field

Associates degree or completion of a Trade School program
