Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities across North America. This role requires independent work and collaboration with Technical Support, Sales, and Customer Service to deliver timely, professional service.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and on-site repairs while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems per procedures and specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and software updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Generate service reports, calibration documentation, and administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide quotations for billable repairs and maintenance agreements; identify PMA renewal opportunities.
