Job summary

Carolina Handling, a leading Raymond dealer, seeks Field Technicians to service lift trucks and automation equipment at customer sites across Georgia. You’ll diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations and repairs, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

We provide a take-home service van, a comprehensive tool kit, uniforms, training, and growth opportunities. Daily travel, safety, and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related field such as maintenance, repair, or installation is preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; reading schematics and technical manuals is essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electro-mechanical problems; perform installations and repairs as needed.
• Interact directly with customers to understand concerns and provide solutions.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers and address repairs found during checks.
• Manage parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
• Ensure the service van is stocked and maintained.
• Adhere to customer safety and housekeeping guidelines at sites.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
