Job summary

Continental is seeking a Field Service Technician in Livonia to transport, install (if applicable), and maintain vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment across accounts using a company vehicle. A $100/year tool allowance is provided and you may bring the company vehicle home.

You will troubleshoot, replace parts, perform preventive maintenance, and handle electrical work as needed. You’ll communicate with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely service, uphold safety standards, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience repairing vending, coffee, or small machines.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment.
• Transport equipment, install replacement parts, and perform repairs at various accounts/locations using a company vehicle.
• Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning machines.
• May include swapping failed equipment, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor adjustments.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
• Will run electrical wiring and plumbing tubes as needed.
• Respond to customer needs with the goal of ensuring satisfaction.
• Supports a service-oriented environment for peers to improve service actions.
• Maintains positive and enthusiastic attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Follows through with customer requests and anticipates needs.
• Additional projects and assignments as needed.
