Job summary

Continental Services is seeking a Field Service Technician in Livonia to repair, install, and maintain vending, micro market and office coffee equipment. The role includes transporting equipment in a company vehicle and performing field repairs to ensure continuous operation across accounts.

The ideal candidate has experience with vending or small machines, basic electrical/plumbing knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. A DOT physical may be required and a tool allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience repairing vending, coffee, or small machines.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and installing vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment to promote continuous operation of machines.
• Transports equipment, installs replacement parts, and performs repairs at various accounts/locations using a company vehicle.
• Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning machines in the field.
• May include swapping failed equipment, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor adjustments.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
• Responds to customer needs with the goal of ensuring satisfaction.
