To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Field Service Technician - Remote (Atlanta area).

Reporting to the Director, Field Applications, the Field Service Technician - Remote (Atlanta area) is responsible for providing service and support at customer sites throughout their assigned territory.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provide installation supervision, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and related power distribution equipment in a professional way.
• Prepare technical reports/test sheets, monitor spare parts, tools/equipment, consumables, etc.
• Maintain and follow safety regulations for the company and specific sites.
• Attend all relevant site meetings.
• Interface with Project Management and Site personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service, listen to client needs, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, relaying information effectively.
• Proactively work to eliminate waste and add value to processes.
• Adhere to safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Follow company policies and rules.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and experience:

• Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience. Military experience is preferred. Data Center or mission-critical system experience is a plus.
• Experience working with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring, AC/DC electrical power, and communication protocols. 3-5 years’ experience in designing low voltage switchgear and power distribution equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of UL Standards such as UL67, UL1008, UL1008S, UL60950, UL891, UL1558, and other relevant standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use test equipment like multimeters and current meters.
