Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. seeks a Service Technician to deliver field service installation, startup, repairs and maintenance for customers. You will perform on-site tank installations, diagnose issues, travel for projects, and maintain safety protocols while supporting customers in various locations.

The role requires working with mobile tools, adhering to DOT/FMCSA requirements, and providing proactive customer briefings and service recommendations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Prior fuel tank installation and maintenance experience preferred.
• DOT and FMCSA physical requirements must be met.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Willingness to travel to various locations for work.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Manage on-site tank installations, repairs, maintenance and tests.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions.
• Operate vehicle safely.
• Follow all field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information.
• Comprehend customer requirements and provide recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• On-call for contaminations, marine and spills.
• May travel to project sites as needed.
