Job summary

Pump & Meter Service seeks a full-time service technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service automotive, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment. You will diagnose issues, install and test new gear, and communicate clearly with customers.

The role requires attention to safety, adherence to regulations, and willingness to travel as needed. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates should be capable of heavy physical work when necessary.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Electrical knowledge and strong mechanical abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Willingness to travel outside standard service area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs fueling equipment; performs preventative maintenance.
• Monitors parts inventory and transfers to jobs and other technicians; coordinates with warehouse.
• Analyzes electronic and mechanical problems and provides repairs as required.
• Installs, programs and tests new equipment.
• Takes samples and conducts environmental tests to determine quality.
• Communicates with customers and explains technical issues clearly.
• Completes compliance documentation.
