Job summary

Carolina Handling, a Raymond Dealer, is seeking Field Technicians to service lift trucks and vehicles at customer sites. You will be the main contact for customers, performing diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance while upholding safety standards.

We provide a take-home service van, a comprehensive tool kit, and opportunities for career growth. Daily travel to customer sites is required, with overtime potential and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related field such as maintenance, repair, or installation is preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: identify and diagnose electro-mechanical problems and perform installations and repairs.
• Customer Interaction: interact directly with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Professionalism: maintain a professional demeanor and deliver superior customer service.
• Repair Work: execute repairs efficiently and address situations promptly.
• Scheduled Maintenance: perform scheduled maintenance and address identified repairs.
• Inventory Management: track parts and supplies in the service van.
• Van Maintenance: ensure service van is maintained and stocked.
• Safety Compliance: adhere to customer safety guidelines at sites.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support operations.
