Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Field Service Technician for specialty rental to service equipment in the field and at customer sites, reporting to the Customer Support Manager.

You will maintain fleet, repair down equipment, and perform preventive maintenance across the territory while ensuring safety. The role involves travel within the United States, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in industrial environments with temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience as an industrial field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or relevant training.
• Experience maintaining, overhaul and repair of electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Strong English; second language is a bonus.
• High energy levels.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurablesuccess to business targets.
• Document all work performed daily by using company provided hardware and software.
