Job summary

Atlas Copco in Gonzales, LA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform expert repairs and preventive maintenance on our technology solutions. You will support the performance and longevity of customer equipment, traveling within the designated US territory and maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires 2-3+ years in industrial field service, an electromechanical background, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic.
• An appropriate electromechanical degree or training.
• Maintenance, overhaul and repair of equipment including electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems.
• Good command of English; a second language is a bonus.
• High energy levels and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in industrial environments with temperature variations and physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment across the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurable success to business targets.
• Document all work daily using company hardware and software.

You will

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.

• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measureale success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily by using company provided hardware and software

To succeed, you will need

• You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industtrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Gonzales, LA. You will join a dynamic field service team, working in a hybrid role and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
